Corporate Client, East Hampshire District Council approached Medstead Marquees to help them with a Staff Briefing event they wanted to hold at their council offices at Penn’s Place in Petersfield. Allister went and met with them on site and started the process of providing them with the perfect solution to their corporate event. The key element to the Briefing event was to be get their 250 staff in one place and to be able to offer catering facilities too. They didn’t want to take the staff off site which is why hiring a marquee was the alternative option.
We were able to offer this Coporate Client our Matrix Range Here This modular option works really well in providing wide open spaces as the different modules can be linked together as shown in the picture, creating a modern and unique look to the marquee.
We were able to seat 250 staff on white bistro chairs https://www.marqueehireinhampshire.com/furniture/ in the two Hexagon shaped marquees, we then added on a 6m square at the end to provide the space for the catering. EHDC wanted the catering screened off during the briefing so that the staff were not distracted by the delicious buffet lunch being prepared for them, the screening was achieved by attaching one of the 6m squares sides to a wire, when the briefing was over the side was pushed back to one side and lunch was served!
As a corporate client, the local authority were really pleased with the marquees, not only did we meet the brief of providing the correct space for the event, we gave them a contemporary style of marquee which added to the occasion and made the staff feel that effort had been put into the Briefing Day to make sure they felt unique.
Following the event Medstead Marquees Hampshire received the following feedback :-
